Description

More info

The Malatray black piste is accessed from a turn-off on the Teppes piste, near the Carolley restaurant on the right as you ride down. In fact, the easiest way to find this rather well-hidden run is to head in the direction of the restaurant as the start can be quite hard to find and is very easy to miss. While the run starts on a mellow gradient, it soon steepens and takes more or less a direct route down to the valley floor – save for a short turn to the right. There is fairly long steep section before the run joins the Bauches blue at its final turn back to the foot of the chair of the same name. To ride it again, you’ll need to take this chair followed by the Crozats to the top. While the main run is pretty enjoyable, you will likely find better, very accessible off-piste options close by.
