The 6-person Salla chair is one of two main links back over to the Bellecôte / Belle Plagne sector from the Montchavin area – and, consequently, is a main link into the rest of the resort. The lift is accessed by riding down from the Plan Leschaux poma, Dos Rond or Bijolin chairs on the front side of Montchavin. It’s also possible to ride direct down the run under the chair from the top of Arpette – or even take the Replat tow and ride the blue down from there (unlikely as most people use Replat to reach the front side of Montchavin). Due to Salla being the first lift you reach on your way back from the front of Montchavin or Les Arcs, it might be tempting to catch this lift thinking it’s quicker. However, in reality, the new Crozats chair is a much quicker option – plus it makes for a longer run on the way into the main side on the Barrières piste. Our first choice would always be Crozats between these two chairs.
