Description

More info

The slow Bauches chair rises from the valley floor far below Roche de Mio and the Bellecôte glacier. The main point of this chair is to give access back from some of La Plagne’s toughest off-piste routes down from both summits. The Bauches run itself is more of a pathway and not really the kind of run you’d spend any time on. There are good backcountry opportunities on both sides of this valley – definitely worth trying though you’ll need a guide to be safe. After the Bauches chair, take the Crozats to get back up and into the main area.
