More info
The top of Pravendue is accessed via an easy-to-miss turn-off from the long Cornegidouille piste which starts at Aime 2000. A little after the Envers and Adrets chairs, look for a piste dropping off to the left. This is Pravendue. On paper, Pravendue sounds like a great run – a long, winding blue piste set amidst dramatic wooded scenery traversing round to its base just above the satellite village of Montalbert. Unfortunately, this isn’t quite the truth. This run is so flat that, in many places, you’ll end up unclipping or schussing (regularly). Indeed, there’s even a long uphill section at one point where you’ll definitely need to walk, no matter how fast you go. If you don’t mind walking, sure, do this run – otherwise, it’s really one to be avoided.
