Description

More info

The short Mélézes chair out of 1800 is an arterial link for visitors staying in the satellite and gives access up and out to the main Grande Rochette bowl and beyond. It doesn’t really serve any runs of purpose so could be more seen as a transit link than anything else. Along with the 1800 chair up to Aime, it provides the only lift access out of 1800 so can suffer badly from queues – particularly in the busy morning period. Watch out for the quick carpet which is used as you get onto this lift to help the lift operate at a quicker speed. Even with the carpet system, the chair still approaches at quite a speed so stay aware as you’re getting on. And snowboarders also beware – the seat on this chair is quite low so it’s advisable to push down your high-backs.
