Description

More info

Depending who you speak to, you’re likely to get very different opinions about the Les Bois red down into Champagny. For some skiers and snowboarders it’s a nightmarish, narrow track on a steep gradient filled with too many other riders. Others, this writer included, really like it. As a general rule, if you’re into side-hits (skier or snowboarder) and like to drop off main runs into the trees, you’ll likely enjoy Les Bois – particularly after fresh snow. Beginners, however, should probably avoid this as it can get bumpy (as well as icy in sections, depending on conditions) – plus the track is quite narrow with trees either side for the majority. After a winding top section, the run mellows for the final third with a nice run-in to Champagny where you can take the gondola for the ride back up.
