Description

More info

Bosses is one of only 18 black pistes across the whole La Plagne domain. In truth, the gradient of this slope isn’t what makes it intimidating – it’s the moguls (‘bosses’ in French literally means ‘bumps). The first quarter of the piste is relatively steep but the gradient soon mellows so that, by the second half of the run, it’s definitely more on the grade of red or even blue rather than black. Bosses is marked Natur – meaning it’s never pisted. Consequently, unless you really like steep bump riding, the best time to hit this run is early-season or after fresh snowfall. It’s definitely one to be avoided when conditions are icy as the bumps really can get quite testing – particularly later in the season.
